I had a request for a set of note cards like I had made pre-blog days and thought I would post these because they are so quick and easy. The cut out is made with the Silhouette and then scored around the edges. They are layered on various colors of cardstock with dimensionals and decorated with pearls and Martha Stewart punched butterflies. Super easy and a great gift!
I also made a gift box out of heavy duty designer paper, complete with acetate opening:
As you can see, I'm back and have requests on order already! Dad's service in Florida was just what he would have wanted. We will miss him sorely.

What a pretty set of notecards and the box sets them off nicely.
ReplyDeleteI was sorry to here of the death of your father, my thoughts and prayers go across the pond.
Wow, this is gorgeous. I was hoping the design was a die (since I don't have a Silhouette). Fabulous gift idea too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card set! I just love the die cut.
ReplyDeleteOh, Gerlinda - I am sorry to hear about your dear father. How is your mom holding up? I hope she is ok with the choices they have made recently to move. Beautiful note cards, Gerlinde. Love the simple elegance - I could never have thought of doing that. So your cards are pinned, to remind me in the future. Everything you make is gorgeous. heartfelt hugs, my friend. xo
ReplyDeleteLove the way you made this - would be such a cool set to receive as a gift. Hint, hint - haha!
