Best Wishes

Do you ever have five projects on your workdesk and NOTHING is finished?  Well, that's me.  The ideas keep coming but the yardwork keeps beckoning.  This is a quick wedding card a friend needed that I cased off a card on pinterest. I believe it was a purple card done by Verity Cards.  I did mine in Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding on Very Vanilla cardstock.  The background dies are Spellbinders and the flowers are SU Flower Shop done on vellum with Sparkle N Sprinkle's Orange Sherbet embossing powder - that's what makes them so shiny.  Then I used the waterbrush with the Crisp Cantaloupe on the back of the flowers.  A little shaping and they almost come to life! The leaves are from Secret Garden and  the sentiment is SU Petite Pairs.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Mother's Day!

Hi!  Wishing you all a wonderful Mother's Day.  This latest card in a box was made with some old Digi stamps I've had for ages.  The teapot is from KLM (now out of business) and the cup and saucer from Anne's Digital Art.  Sometime soon I'm going to figure out how to cut the images with my Silhouette instead of hand cutting them!  Maybe this summer.  The DP is K& Co Madeline for the first one.  The blue one is Prima Annalee and I'm not sure about the third one - just a loose sheet I had, probably SU.  The sentiments are done with Sparkle N Sprinkle embossing powders - Seafoam, Sparkling Sky and Winter Berry.
I just got my mother's in the mail today, so it will be a bit late, but I'm sure she won't mind!

Thanks for visiting!
