Best Wishes

Do you ever have five projects on your workdesk and NOTHING is finished?  Well, that's me.  The ideas keep coming but the yardwork keeps beckoning.  This is a quick wedding card a friend needed that I cased off a card on pinterest. I believe it was a purple card done by Verity Cards.  I did mine in Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding on Very Vanilla cardstock.  The background dies are Spellbinders and the flowers are SU Flower Shop done on vellum with Sparkle N Sprinkle's Orange Sherbet embossing powder - that's what makes them so shiny.  Then I used the waterbrush with the Crisp Cantaloupe on the back of the flowers.  A little shaping and they almost come to life! The leaves are from Secret Garden and  the sentiment is SU Petite Pairs.

Thanks for looking!

  1. This is gorgeous! Love the colors of the vellum flowers and the idea of adding embossing powder to the vellum. (You should add the link to the SNS Challenge Blog and enter it, if you have time).
