Black Tie Gift

I've made these notecards before, but I got a special request for black and white ones and just had to show them off too!  I used the black and white DP from the Stampin Up Neutrals collection and wish there were more of these in the pack.  The design is cut with the Silhouette and the butterflies are a MS punch.  They would make a very elegant gift.  I might just get back to work and whip up a few more!

 Thanks for looking!

  3. Beautiful job with the black and white, Gerlinde. I know there aren't a lot of pages for the black. I hope the Modern Medley will work for you as well.

  4. Hi Gerlinde!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I feel bad because I'm so woefully behind in visiting my dt & blogging friends and it was so nice to hear from you :-)!

These black & white cards are gorgeous - I LOVE a great two tone card! And Your grouping is perfect with the nice variety of patterns you used to show off the black & white. Love that die cut too! BTW, What type of box did you use to pack these in or did you die cut that on your Silhouette? The coordinating box makes the gift even more perfect!

By the way, I LOVE your penguin card you posted a little while back!! Adorable images, great designer paper, PEFECT use for a stair step, and gotta love all that snow & sparkle - Absolutely adorable card!!

Sure going to try to get back into visiting more often! Hope all is well with you! Big Hugs!

    1. Hi Julie! So good to hear from you! Thank you for your kind comments and I can't wait till you're "back in business" . You do such beautiful work! The box for those black and white cards was just measured and doodled out before I cut it. I have the scrap of notes on my table to prove it! I was just making a flat box for these notecards, but found a sideways stand up one on pinterest and gave it a try. I think I like it better! TTLYL! G
