Angel Wishes

This is it!  Last card for 2014!  And a very special one too, but I can't divulge too much until I get it sent.   The funny thing is, between August and November I have trouble coming up with ideas and then in December, when I don't really have the time, I have WAYYYYYY too many ideas!  So I will have to do those in January before I forget.

These little angels were done with a cut file from My Scrap Chick and the box is from the Christmas box set from Svgcuts. The box actually had a train in the front and more ornaments, but I left those off to make room for the angels. The back tree is glitter paper but the darker tree is embossed with Sparkle N Sprinkle's Irish Spring embossing powder.  The red ornament is also glitter paper.  The sentiment is Stampin Up Christmas Messages done in Silver Detail embossing powder.  The card folded up is rather large - 7.5" x 8.5" so I'll have to head over to Marco's Papers to find the right envelope.  I haven't figured out how to use my envelope punch board for one that large yet!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - Pick a 2014 theme - I picked Angels, of course
Christmas Cards All Year Round - Anything but a square or rectangle
Kreativeinkauf - Tannenbaum (Christmas Tree)

Wishing you a wonderful Holiday Season!

Midnight Hour Christmas Cards!

Merry Christmas!

Just thought I'd show you my latest (and quickest) cards since this is the weekend for mailing, right?

The card on the left is done with a Great Impressions stamp I borrowed from my good friend Terry.

I embossed it with Sparkle N Sprinkle's White Spark embossing powder and sponged with Memento Summer Sky and Bahama Blue.  The snow is also embossing powder, stamped with a Gorgeous Grunge stamp.
The second card is Stampin Up's Wetlands and Hardwood stamps.  I tried putting a wreath around his neck like I've seen on Pinterest but finally settled for a festive bow.

Off I go for one more special card and the Christmas mailing!
Thanks for visiting!

Winter Wonderland

I made these cards as a birthday gift for my mother, but I think I need to make some more for myself.  They are so much nicer in real life because the depth of the dies and the sparkle on the trees does not show up well in the photos. I only made two in English and the rest in German, so Mom can mail them to the relatives in Germany.
The trees is a die by Taylored Expressions and the deer is by Memory Box.  The bird is a MS punch and the sentiment is done with my Silhouette.  The glitter on the trees is Sparkle N Sprinkle's Sparkling Snow.
My friend Terry did these in a monochromatic color scheme, which I really loved, and meant to copy, but then I changed one thing and then another and before you knew it, I had a completely different card!  But thank you Terry, for lending me the dies!

Elfish Christmas

I borrowed this Northwoods stamp from a friend and am now six cards closer to my Christmas quota!  I haven't colored with my Copics in ages!  I forgot how much fun it was!  The background paper is a discontinued Daisy D and the other cardstock is Gumball Green and Real Red.  The sentiment is computer generated and punched out with SU's Ornament Punch, backed with glitter cardstock.  Red and Gold Stickles were used on the image.  Hope I can keep up with my Christmas cards this year inbetween stripping all the wallpaper in my house!  Yuck!
Thanks for stopping by!
