With Sympathy

My aunt in Germany (on my mother's side) passed away a week before my dad and I'm just now getting around to a card for the cousins.  This is the English version, of course, - theirs has the German "Aufrichtige Anteilnahme" on it.  This card was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest by Monica's Passions Blog.  Hers had some green on it, but I stuck with plain black and white.  I think it's all pretty self explanatory- I had never thought of using the two step bird punch on a sympathy card - genius!
The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the buckle is from Amazon.

    Beautiful card, Gerlinde, and it has been pinned - love the "stuttering" square die cuts - they make a lovely backdrop for the bird. I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. hugs, de
